Privacy and personal data protection policy

La Grande Pharmacie Fanta Sangaré SARL attaches particular importance to the confidentiality and protection of personal data that may be transmitted to it through its website.

This policy explains what data may be collected, why it is used, to whom it may be disclosed, and what measures are implemented to limit its use and ensure its protection.

It complies with the rules applicable in Mali on the protection of personal data, notably Law No. 2013-015 of 21 May 2013, as well as formalities that may fall under the Malian Personal Data Protection Authority (APDP), without prejudice to applicable pharmaceutical professional obligations.

Data that may be collected

Depending on the service used, the following data may in particular be processed:

  • identity voluntarily provided;
  • telephone number;
  • email address;
  • city;
  • neighbourhood;
  • content of a request;
  • name of a sought product;
  • dosage, presentation or quantity when necessary;
  • documents or attachments voluntarily transmitted;
  • technical data strictly necessary for the security and operation of the website.

City and neighbourhood are collected so that the pharmacy can better locate the request geographically and facilitate its operational handling.

A prescription or document transmitted by the user may contain health-related information. Such information must be subject to enhanced protection and is used only as necessary to process the relevant request.

Minimisation

La Grande Pharmacie Fanta Sangaré SARL undertakes to limit collection to the information necessary to process the request.

Users are invited not to transmit unnecessary medical or personal information.

Purposes

  • respond to contact requests;
  • process availability requests;
  • examine product order requests;
  • allow examination of voluntarily transmitted documents;
  • respond to agreement or partnership requests;
  • ensure the technical security of the website;
  • prevent abuse, spam and attacks;
  • comply with applicable legal or regulatory obligations.

Data collected via these forms is not used automatically for advertising, commercial prospecting, profiling, resale of data or transmission to advertisers.

AMO calculator

The AMO calculator is designed to work without account creation and without nominative recording of the calculation performed.

Entered products, quantities and simulation results are not stored in a website database for profiling or to build a patient history.

Transmitted documents and prescriptions

When a user voluntarily chooses to attach a prescription or other document, it is used only as necessary to examine their request.

Electronic transmission of a document does not constitute automatic validation of the prescription, automatic acceptance of an order, or automatic authorisation to dispense.

Users are invited to transmit only strictly necessary documents.

Technically, files are validated (extension, MIME type, content, size) then transmitted by email to the recipients configured for the pharmacy. They are not stored in a public folder on the website and do not have a predictable public URL.

Email is not presented as an inherently secure storage method for health data. The transmission and retention mechanism remains subject to validation before production.

Recipients

Data is accessible only to authorised persons at La Grande Pharmacie Fanta Sangaré SARL who need it to process the request, and to technical providers strictly necessary for the operation of the service where applicable.

Data is neither sold nor rented to advertisers.

Retention period

Data is retained for a period limited to what is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, subject to applicable legal, regulatory, professional or evidentiary obligations.

Documents containing health information must not be retained on the website beyond what is necessary to process the request, except where a specific legal obligation or justification applies.

Rights of individuals

Any data subject may exercise the rights recognised by applicable personal data protection legislation, under the conditions provided therein.

For any question or request relating to their personal data: pharmacie@pharmaciefs.com

To protect data against unauthorised access, a reasonable verification of the requester’s identity may be required when the nature of the request so justifies.

The Malian Personal Data Protection Authority (APDP) is the institutional reference authority in this field. Any applicable formalities are subject to separate validation before production.

Security

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are implemented to limit the risks of unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure of data.

As no information system can provide absolute security, protection measures are regularly adapted to the risks and the nature of the data processed.

Cookies and trackers

In the current state of the application, no advertising analytics tool or consent banner is deployed. The website does not embed a Google Maps iframe: location is provided via an external link to the mapping service.

Strictly necessary technical cookies for browser or hosting operation may exist depending on the production environment. Any future introduction of non-essential trackers must be documented and, where applicable, subject to applicable consent requirements.

Professional confidentiality

Information communicated in connection with a pharmaceutical request is handled with particular attention to confidentiality and in compliance with applicable professional obligations.
